Join Dr. James Noble, Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion and fellow-LLI participants this summer in the viewing of Harriet.  This 2019 biographical film about abolitionist Harriet Tubman is written and directed by Kasi Lemmons and Gregory Allen Howard, and features Cynthia Erivo as Tubman along with Leslie Odom Jr., Joe Alwyn, and Janelle Monae.

From her escape from slavery through the dangerous missions she led to liberate hundreds of slaves through the Underground Railroad, Harriet is the story of heroic abolitionist Harriet Tubman.
